INTRODUCTION:
Microsoft Dynamics AX users are employees of your organization or company (or a partner) AX does, however, have the concept of a user, which is typically an employee that has an account in your Active Directory. This is required to grant the users access to log in to AX and to manage their roles, duties, and privileges. Microsoft Dynamics AX as part of their job. Your organization or company could have many hundreds of employees, but there might only be a few individuals who need to work with Microsoft Dynamics AX as part of their job. Any individual who needs to access Microsoft Dynamics AX must be added to the list of Microsoft Dynamics AX users on the Users form, as described in this topic. A user must also exist in at least one user group before they can access Microsoft Dynamics AX.

STEPS TO CREATE A SINGLE USER IN DYNAMICS AX:
INTRODUCTION:
Microsoft
Dynamics AX users are employees of your organization or company (or a partner) AX does,
however, have the concept of a user, which is
typically an employee that has an account in your Active Directory.
This is required to grant the users access to log in to AX and to manage
their roles, duties, and privileges. Microsoft
Dynamics AX as part of their job. Your organization or company could have many

work with Microsoft Dynamics AX as part of their job. Any individual who needs
to access Microsoft Dynamics AX must be added to the list of Microsoft Dynamics

STEPS TO CREATE A SINGLE USER IN
DYNAMICS AX:
STEP 1.1: Open Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Step 1.2: Navigate to System Administration Common Users. Then the following window will open.
Step 1.5: Either enable the user or close the form. It will automatically save and information. If the user is not in the active directory then this box will not be checked.
Step 1.6: Once we complete these fields and when we close it. It automatically validate the fields.
Step 1.7: please
verify if the user is added correctly.
Importing users from Active
Directory:
This allows you to import single or multiple users in a
single pass.
Step 2.0: Go to Systems administrationè Common è Users è
users.
Step 2.1: On the
users’ list page, click on Import this will open Active Directory import Wizard.
Step 2.2: Click next select Domain name and then Alias and
click next
Step 2.3:
select the user and click next
Step 2.4: continue to assign the roles for the users
and click on next

2.5: Once complete, click on Next and select the profiles that the users should be a part
of, as shown in the following screenshot:

Step 3: Creating an Employee:
Step 3.1 Navigate
to Human resourcesè workers èEmployees and then carry out
the following steps.
Step 3.2: Click on
the Hire new worker,
which following drop down appears.
Step 3.3: fill the credentials of the employee, if employee name already exist then it prompt to reuse it or create new.
Step 3.4: Click on the assign a position to call the position of employee
Step 3.5: Click on the Hire New Worker to complete the procedure.
