Microsoft Dynamics AX: Allow Users On Reports in Microsoft Dynamics AX
ALLOWING USERS TO ACCESS THE REPORTS IN MICROSOFT DYNAMICS AX
STEP 2: Connect to the SQL Server Reporting Services.
STEP 3: Click on the Report Manager URL and the follow the URL as shown in the following screenshot.
STEP 4: Following window will appear and click on the site settings.
STEP 5: Click on the security and then New Role Assignment as shown in the following screenshot

INTRODUCTION TO AX USER ACCOUNT
Reporting services uses role based security to allow users to access the reports. Only allowed users can access the reports, there are different level of permission on reports in reporting server. Some users have only system user they can only view the reports, but not able to change anything on the reports. System Administrators has complete right on reports to make changes. In Microsoft Dynamics AX we have three level of security implementation on the reports, (1) on home (2) on Microsoft DynamicsAX folder (3) folder settings.
STEP 1: Run the SQL server Reporting Services Configuration Manager as administrator.
STEP 2: Connect to the SQL Server Reporting Services.
STEP 3: Click on the Report Manager URL and the follow the URL as shown in the following screenshot.
STEP 4: Following window will appear and click on the site settings.
STEP 5: Click on the security and then New Role Assignment as shown in the following screenshot
STEP 6: Group or user name and the assign the roles to the selected individuals or groups, as system user or administrator.
STEP 7: After opening the DnynamicsAX folder click on the site settings and follow the instructions
STEP 8: Click on the Security and then assign the roles as system administrator or as user
STEP 9: Click on the Folder settings as shown in the below screenshot
STEP 10: After clicking on the folder settings this page appears, add group or user name accordingly and the assign the roles to the users
